After gathering in the heart of Kotor at 9:30 am, our adventure begins as we embark on a scenic 25-kilometer drive along the winding road bordering the Bay of Kotor.

Our first destination is Njeguši, a charming Montenegrin town nestled in the mountains. Here, we’ll meander through its quaint streets, soaking in panoramic views of the Dinaric Alps across the bay. For those interested, an optional tasting of local delicacies awaits in the home of a friendly local resident.

Leaving Njeguši behind, our journey continues to Lovćen National Park, a breathtaking natural haven boasting rich historical, cultural, and architectural significance. It is also home to Mount Lovćen, believed to have inspired Montenegro’s name, translating to “Black Mountain.” Climbing 461 steps to the pinnacle of Jezerski, standing at 1,657 meters above sea level, we’ll reach the summit and discover the Mausoleum of Petar II Petrović-Njegoš—a revered Montenegrin poet, philosopher, and prince. In addition to exploring the mausoleum, we’ll revel in unparalleled vistas of the surrounding landscapes from this awe-inspiring vantage point.

During our return journey to Kotor, we’ll pause at various viewpoints, allowing us to marvel at the breathtaking Balkan scenery. Around 2:30 pm, we’ll safely return you to the original meeting point, concluding our memorable excursion.
